College Hall, a classic 1940’s/1950’s brick classroom building on the Western Washington Campus, was in need of several upgrades including a new elevator to replace an aging stair lift system. College management’s vision centered on upgrading ADA accessibility, thereby extending the useful life of the building.
The firm designed and oversaw construction of the new elevator and an exterior ADA accessible entry ramp. Work also included:
- Mechanical upgrades including new plumbing and ventilation
- Electrical upgrades including lighting/telecom/fire alarm
- Hazardous material abatement and demolition for installation of the elevator
- Structural analysis and design
